Painted spiny lobster

In Japan, distributed from Kanagawa Prefecture southwards. Reaches 40 cm in length. There are complex patterns of white and black on a dark-green base. Its abdomen has transverse bright white bands with black edges. This is a particularly beautiful species of spiny lobster.
